Jetboil - Everything You Need To Know
MiniMo Review
I've been using my Jetboil MiniMo for a couple of camping & hiking seasons now. I've used it in places like Joshua Tree, CA, Lake Arrowhead, CA, Hearst San Simeon State Park, CA, Yosemite, CA, Angeles National Forest, on the road for work, as well as in the backyard for a quick, easy meal to keep the heat out of the kitchen during the dog days of summer.
Check out my Jetboil MiniMo review to learn what I've found out so far about this handy backpacking stove.
MiniMo Basic Operations
MiniMo Field Operation
In part 2 of my MiniMo series, I go over field operation, including how the stove fares in a windy area, with collected data and efficiency interpretation of such. I also go over how long a fuel canister will last in real world conditions, both for just boiling water for backpacking foods, and actually cooking with the cook set.
Further, in part 2, I talk about cleaning the pot and burner in the field, both when you have a water source nearby, and when you are short on water, with emphasis on leave no trace practices. And finally I go over troubleshooting fuel clogs, and when and when you can't repair a clog, in the field.
